FMFB-A Successfully Concludes 8-Day ACL Training Program!
The First MicroFinanceBank Afghanistan (FMFB-A), in collaboration with the Afghanistan Institute of Banking and Finance (AIBF), has successfully completed an intensive 8-day Audit Command Language (ACL) Training Program at the FMFB-A Head Office in Kabul.
This specialized hands-on program brought together professionals from Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, and Credit to master ACL Analytics, a leading computer-assisted audit technique (CAAT) designed to transform complex data into clear, defensible audit evidence, continuous monitoring, and effective fraud detection.
Over the course of eight days, participants progressed from core analytics to advanced automation. They gained practical skills in importing and cleansing large data sets, building automated scripts, and creating audit-ready reports that meet international standards and regulatory expectations.
Highlighting the value of the program, Mr. Neymat Mohammadi, Chief Staff Affairs Officer (or CHRO) of FMFB-A, stated that this training marks a vital milestone that will significantly boost team performance and elevate overall audit quality.
With these newly acquired capabilities, FMFB-A teams can now automate sampling, minimize manual effort, expand audit coverage, and deliver deeper, data-driven insights across banking operations.
During the certificate distribution at the training, Mr. Milad Amin, Training Manager at AIBF, expressed his delight at the successful completion of the training, emphasizing AIBF’s mandate to support the growth of the banking sector and celebrating the pioneering introduction of ACL technology at FMFB-A.
By embedding continuous data auditing and advanced analytical techniques into its core methodology, FMFB-A continues to reinforce its commitment to robust corporate governance, proactive risk management, and operational excellence.
